Yes it is true that some people or pastors speak out against homosexuality and I see that it could cause people to upset because of it. But ultimately their is no balancing out of sin everyone who sins is a transgressor of God. Unless they have excepted Jesus Christ their is no hope of salvation. According to Colossians 1 :27 Christ is the hope of glory which means that Jesus is the presence of God within us with means that God perfects the bodies of believers into a temple. In Romans 2: 11 it states that there is no respect of persons before God which means that God does judges us but he judges us according to our sins. He will judge both the saved (those who have accepted Christ and believe upon Him to Salvation) and those
that never really knew Him. To some Christ will say depart from me I never knew you (Luke 13:27). But to the saved God will have a lighter judgment because of the blood of Jesus. It is the very blood of Jesus that cleanses the sin of Christians. Yes, their may be some in the LGBT community that feel let down because of this but according to God in Romans 1:26 to lust after the same sex is unnatural. I wish I could say something more hopeful but homosexuality truly is a sin and a transgression against God anyone who is may feel burdened because of their sins. But that means that they need to repent and Christ will lift that burden from them and they will then be forgiven by the mercy of God and through the blood of Jesus. Yes, there is truly hope but it doesn't lye in man or women it lies in the Savior of Mankind Jesus Christ the Lord. Truly I ask anyone who is a part of something unnatural whether it is homosexuality, being gay or being involved in something which is against the image in which God created us, to work to improve their life and change it to come more like Christ. So it is a very hard question to answer because if anyone chooses to be involved in something that is against God they simply need to repent (Even if they already have accepted Christ, Christian’s sins to too). Suicide in my opinion is murder and is no better then homosexuality. Psalms 119:1 says "Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord." Walking in the law of the Lord is truly what God desire from all his servants (those who follow Him). We are either servants to God or a servant to sin it is either one or the other we cannot serve both. So God desire the best from us and the best is much more then what we are personally able to do, it is what God can do and is doing in our lives to perfect us to salvation. Anyone who desires anything unnatural is being tempted by the sins of this World and not by God (1 John 2:16). Even so regardless of our circumstances God is their and he loves us any ways and desires to come closer to us in our personal relationship with him. Their is such a brokenness in any form of unhealthy desires or unhealthy sexuality because they are not from God but they are a temptation of this World. Once anyone is involved in any form of lust then they need to really on God and make a decision to truly follow Jesus with complete and earnest commit-wholeheartedly and work to turn from their sins. Sin is very hard to overcome and actually can only be overcome by doing good instead of sin. In other words it is good for each woman to have a husband and each man to have a wife and it is right before God and is a good thing. But to do good along with evil is bad and no one can overcome evil completely because of our sinful nature. Because after Adam and eve sinned in the beginning of the earth eve everyone after has been born a sinner. But sin is not what God desires from us He desires better things for us (Jeremiah 29:11) He desires peace in our lives and would love for each one of us to have a genuine relationship with Him. A true relationship with Him goes beyond sin into a relationship free from the bondage of sin. Which means that those who worship Him should as John 4:24 says "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." God desires us to get beyond our earthly lust into a genuine relationship with
~
Him. Which means to serve and love God with all our heart soul and mind. t some may begin to wonder How much can we serve Christ?? That would of course be up to how much we work towards the improvement of our lives as believers and ultimately God is limitless. And therefore he has overcome sin by nailing it to the cross. And Romans is a good chapter in describing this (Romans 6: 1 in which it asks, Should we sin expecting grace to come anyways?? And it answers, God forbid). So it is much worse if we know that we are supposed to do good but then we choose evil instead. Because evil hinders our relationship with God. So we need to pray in faith asking God for forgiveness and work towards and better life in Christ because without Him their is no hope but in Him their is hope, strength, and power to overcome our weaknesses. So we all need to become believers and God desires believers to not only hear the Word of God (James 1 :22) but to live our lives according to the Word of God. This is often hard in the face of such hardships in our lives such as a brokenness but God is able to take a brokenness and completely break us into pieces and rebuild us and reshape us to be more like Jesus that is God's goal in our lives is for us to let Him reshape us into a better creation. So even if our lives have fallen apart God is there to fix them even if it means starting over again from the beginning. God will do it and we owe it to ourselves to work towards a better today because tomorrow is not guaranteed. So I hope that this helps answers your question and I pray that whoever finds help will look to God for the answers.
